Serving Maryland Clients
I am a psychology associate serving clients ages 4 and older at Playful Therapy Connections. I offer in person comprehensive testing services in North Bethesda, Maryland, under the direct supervision of Dr. Jaclyn Halpern.
Over the last ten years, I have worked to provide psychological evaluations and therapy, helping individuals understand how their unique brains work and how they can learn to harness their strengths.
Before becoming a clinician, I worked as a business development and marketing manager for a small group of life and career coaches. Most of my job was working with statistics, helping the coaches better understand how they could fill the needs of the population. So, you could say I've always loved data and how it can be used to help people!
I’m also an ADHD’r!
What does my experience mean for you as my client?
I love assessments and the things that they can tell us about a person’s internal experiences! As an ADHD’r, I’m always excited to hear about special interests and am especially attuned to any sensory or fidgeting needs.
When approaching evaluations and feedback sessions, we’ll keep in mind that test results to tell us more about you and how your brain works. Once we understand your strengths, we will talk about ways to leverage them to access the supports you may need.

When not practicing therapy, you can find me playing the newest city or factory building video game (If I can make a spreadsheet for a game, I'm in!), collecting dice or fountain pens, or reading whatever fantasy series I found most recently.
I am particularly interested in supporting people at the intersection between Queer Identity and Neurodivergence.
My clinical focus is who I am!
Frequently Asked Questions…
What is your favorite color?
Burgundy it's like purple but business-y!
What is your favorite movie?
The Lord of the Rings Extended Series
What’s your favorite video game?
Diablo 2
Do you have any kids, pets or plants?
I have two very large cats who make sure I get out of bed in the morning. If I'm at home, one or both are usually laying at my feet or being obstructive on top of my keyboard while I'm working.
Why did you decide to pursue psychology?
When I was younger I was able to see the impact mental health professionals can have on an individual. I wanted to offer that impact to others.
I actually still have my own psychological assessment from when I was 8 years old. This is when I was identified as an ADHD’r! To this day, there are parts of that report that resonate with me very strongly.
