Group Therapy: Teen D&D

Teen TTRPG Group Therapy

Virtual Tabletop Roleplaying Group Therapy

Early High Schoolers - Maryland | DC | SOUTH CAROLINA

Late High Schoolers - Maryland

Adventurers across Maryland, DC & South Carolina are invited to join us Dungeons & Dragons™ style as we work together to create a shared fantasy world.

Through storytelling and roleplaying, each Adventurer will be called upon to use their unique skills to navigate the group through a series of homebrew missions & collaborative combat.

why tabletop roleplaying therapy groups?

Therapeutically-Applied Roleplaying Groups are COOL. And effective.

Instead of using “traditional” talk therapy, Adventurers get to embody a character of their own creation. This character can be as alike to or as different from themselves as they choose.

Through the careful storyweaving of an experienced Dungeon Master, Adventurers work through not just the challenges presented in the campaign but challenges that are impacting them in real life.

Why our TTRPG Groups?

Because we’ve got Therapists & Interns leading the group with experience in providing neurodiversity affirming care & the passion & knowledge required to be a Dungeon Master.

What else do we have? We’ve got a neurodiverse and nerdy team of therapists and interns. So for real - we.get.it.

Bring your fandoms, bring your weird, bring your bursts of inspiration, bring your quiet, bring your awkward, bring your anxiety and even your literal inability to contain your excitement.

All are welcome.

In a safe, virtual space, Adventurers can choose to boost their skills in the areas of:

Emotional Regulation & Stress Management

Collaboration, Communication & Conflict Resolution

Planning, Goal-setting & Adapting to Change

Perspective-taking of Self & Others
